C.A Papaellinas was founded in 1929 as a pharmaceutical agent. During the years that followed the organisation expanded its activities into pharmaceutical imports, securing the representation of well-known international pharmaceutical names. At the beginning of the 1960’s, the organisation grew further by expanding in the field of consumer and cosmetic products and in the 1990’s it entered the field of retailing with the Beauty Line chain of cosmetics and fragrances. In 2010, its retailing operations grew further with the acquisition of the Holland & Barrett franchise of health food and natural remedies. In 2013, C.A.Papaellinas acquired the distribution of the Yves Rocher brand, the No.1 cosmetic brand in France.
C.A Papaellinas is today one of the biggest and most dynamic organisations on the island, leading in all areas of its activities:
