We have offices located within Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, China, UK, and Cyprus.

What is your key day-to-day responsibilities:

Preparation of internal bookkeeping and relevant statutory financial reports to ensure legal requirements compliance and tax obligations.
Complete reconciliations, troubleshoot errors and liaise with banks in relation to FX contracts and currency transactions.
Liaise with banks, payment providers and other third-party vendors.
Assist in providing month-end financial reporting, (including balance sheet reconciliation, monthly journals, bank reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, and BAS preparation) financial statements and other EOFY schedules.
Assist in divisional input to external reporting requirements/audit requirements.
Ensure account receivable/accounts payable are completed.
Assist in providing information requested from auditors or bankers when required.
Working closely with our global teams in Australia, UK and Singapore.
Prepare budgets, cash-flow projections and other management reports when required.
Active involvement in aspects of operational risk management, as well as the planning, development and implementation of finance, tax, operational, due diligence and other business projects.
Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, effectiveness or timeliness through automation, simplification, or elimination.

What you will need to have:

Degree in Finance/Accounting or related field.
Chartered Accountant, ACA/ACCA/CPA Qualified.
A minimum of 3 years’ hands-on experience in a similar position in the CFD, FinTech and/or IT industry.
Strong IFRS background, knowledge of FATCA and CRS reporting.
Familiar with CySEC regulations, knowledge of VAT and local TAX regulations.
Sufficient knowledge for CFD/FX and derivatives trading business.
Understanding of accounting systems such as Xero.
High degree of accuracy and strong attention to details.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written in English and Greek.
Strong computer skills and ability to learn new technology. Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
Fluent in Mandarin is a plus but not mandatory.
