CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an expanding Group of Companies with diverse business interests, we are seeking to recruit a Financial Analyst to join their growing team based in Limassol. Working alongside the Financial Controller and CFO, the successful applicant will primarily be responsible for producing financial reports and interpreting financial information to present to Management, including the analysis of costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company’s actual performance compared to projected results. You will be educated to degree level in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field, be a full member of a recognised accounting body (ACA/ACCA/CPA) and possess proven experience in a similar finance related role.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to managerial staff while recommending further courses of action.
Advise on investment activities and provide strategies that the company should take.
Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans.
Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met.
Liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.

Key Skills/Experience:

BS/MA degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
Full member of a recognised accounting body (ACA, ACCA, CPA).
Previous experience working in a similar role that involves Financial Analysis is essential.
Extensive understanding of financial trends both within a company and general market patterns.
A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.
Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used.
