Transport Manager

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Fulltime

Iacovou Transport is seeking to recruit a Transport Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the logistics of the Company’s transportation related activities by managing, directing and coordinating a fleet of tipper trucks and all associated transportation matters.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

Complying with transportation related policies, as well as, safety rules and government regulations.
Keep up to date on relevant changes in standards and legislation.
Planning, organising and managing staff members to ensure work is completed and consistent with the Company’s standards.
Making sure that vehicles are properly maintained by arranging repairs and routine maintenance in coordination with the Workshop.
Promoting safe work activities.
Maintaining accurate records, keeping schedules and organising team members.
Monitor and report on transportation costs.
Any other project/ task as assigned by the Executive Director related to own role.

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years previous experience
