Site Engineer

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Fulltime

Zemco Construction Ltd is currently seeking to recruit a highly motivated individual for the position of Site Engineer.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for daily project execution activities in the site, by coordinating between Client, Consultant and Senior Management and by using approved schedules, drawings and materials.
Supervision of activities on site and reporting any fault, defect etc. to the project Engineer.
Preparing site progress reports
Control, and coordinate the works of subcontractors and report on their progress and or trends for problems / delays to Project Manager.
Responsible for daily site material, labour and equipment requirement. Also, responsible to raise purchase requisition for the above requirements.
Responsible for Assisting and Implementing Safety procedures in the project as per the company safety policy.
Planning and organizing the work.
Supervising and monitoring the site teams and monitoring the work of any subcontractors.
To be aware of and maintain an understanding of the contract documents, appropriate codes, standards and specifications.

Profile and Qualifications:

Should have a Civil Engineering Degree
Minimum 3-year Experience
Must have knowledge of AutoCAD, Planning tools and all Microsoft Office Products
Ability to work under pressure and be multi task oriented
Excellent communication skills both oral and written
Experience in restoration of preserved buildings will be considered as an advantage
