The origin of the Raftis Group dates back to 1975 when S. Raftis Co Ltd was founded being one of the first land development companies in Cyprus. The founder and director of the Group, Mr Savvas Raftis is a Civil Engineer and an Architect. His personal experience includes design and construction of major projects in Cyprus, including a number of hotels in Pafos area, and in Libya (1980 -1985) where he undertook the construction of several governmental projects.
In recent years the Group's main focus has been hotel ownership, property development, real estate agency and land investments and it is currently one of the largest landowners in Cyprus.
In more than 35 years in business the Raftis family has established a sound reputation. The Raftis Group now comprises over 20 companies active in various sectors - including S. Raftis Co., Roman Hotels, S.Raftis Properties, Raftis & Raftis Developers, R&P Cyprus Real Estate Agency
