Land Surveyor

Iacovou Group, one of the most reputable and established Construction Groups in Cyprus and Abroad, seeks to recruit an experienced and high caliber professional for the position of Land Surveyor.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be accountable for measuring, mapping, assessing, collecting and interpreting information about specific pieces of land:

Undertake land/topographic/hydrographic/measured building surveys, by using a variety of specialist equipment
Prepare survey drawings
Assists in the preparation of the monthly payments when required.
Provide advice about technical matters and whether construction plans are viable
Responsible for setting out of the works and keeping of appropriate records
Present data to Project Engineers and write reports
Observes the Statutory, Contractual and Company requirements with regards to Quality, Health & Safety and the Environment.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Land Surveying will be considered an advantage
At least 3 years of experience in a similar position is required.
Planning and organizing skills
Communication and interpersonal skills
Analytical and numerical skills
Attention to detail
Computer literacy
Excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written
